Privacy Policy for StarInsight

This Privacy Policy describes what data the application collects, how it is used, stored, and protected. By using the application, you confirm your agreement with the terms of this Policy.

1. What data we collect

The application collects only the data that the user enters manually. Providing data is voluntary and required solely for the proper functioning of the app.

Minimum data:

• Date of birth

Additional data (optional):

• Name
• Place of birth
• Time of birth

All data is used only to personalize the application’s functionality: generating entertainment text materials, displaying information in the interface, and saving user settings.

The application does not use data to make decisions with legal, medical, financial, or similar consequences.

2. Where the data is stored

The user independently chooses where to store their data.

2.1 Local storage (default)

• All data is stored only on the user’s device and is not accessible to the developer.

2.2 Cloud storage (optional)

If the user enables synchronization, the data is stored in:

• Google Firebase (Firestore Database)
  (Data operator — Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC)

Firebase complies with GDPR requirements and acts as a data processor.

The user may at any time:

• Disable synchronization
• Delete data from the cloud
• Continue using the app with local storage only

3. Data processing

The entered personal data may be used by an automated system to generate entertainment-oriented text materials. Only the minimum amount of data necessary for this function is processed.

An external automated text-processing system may be used to generate the content. The data transmitted is minimal and partially depersonalized. The system does not use the information to train models, does not share it with third parties, and stores it only temporarily for proper operation.

The generated content:

• is not professional advice (medical, psychological, financial, etc.)
• does not guarantee events
• must not be used for making important decisions

We do not use your data for:

• advertising
• sharing with third-party companies
• creating commercial profiles

4. User consent and withdrawal

By using the application, the user agrees to:

• processing of entered data within the app’s functionality
• storing data locally or (optionally) in the cloud

The user may withdraw consent at any time:

• delete data through the app
• disable cloud storage
• delete their account

After deletion, data cannot be restored.

5. User rights (GDPR)

The user has the right to:

• access their data
• correct their data
• delete their data
• restrict processing
• data portability (export upon request)
• opt out of cloud storage
• file a complaint with an EU authority

To exercise these rights, the user may contact the developer via the Google Play contact form.

6. Subscriptions and paid features

Subscriptions affect only the functional capabilities of the application:

• number of stored profiles
• number of available thematic categories
• weekly request limit
• access to custom themes (Premium+)

After subscription expiration:

• data remains available
• editing or creating new entries may be limited based on the plan

7. Children

The application is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. If a child’s data was entered without parental consent, it must be deleted or the developer should be contacted.

8. Changes to the Policy

The Policy may be updated. Last update: 20 November 2025. Continued use of the application means acceptance of the updated Policy.
